Paris, France (AHN) - Justine Henin captured her third consecutive French Open title on Saturday with a dominating 6-1, 6-2 victory over 19-year-old Ana Ivanovic.

Henin ended the match with a forehand volley and tossed her racket in celebration as she became the first woman since Monica Seles in 1990-92 to win three consecutive Roland Garros titles.

"It's surreal to win for the third time in a row," said Henin, according to AP. "I am struggling to take it in."

Ivanovic committed 26 unforced errors and double-faulted five times.

"I started getting nervous," Ivanovic said. "I couldn't control the serve, and she used that well."

Henin has won four French Open titles and has made the final round in her last five majors. She pocketed a winner's pure of $1.34 million while Ivanovic earned $670,000.

Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal face off on Sunday in the men's final.
