Gold Coast, Australia (AHN) - Karrie Webb sure knows how to warm up for the LPGA tour. The Australian picked up her second win in a row as she shot a 4-under 68 on Sunday to win the Australian Ladies Masters. She previously won the Australian Open the week before and is now playing some of her best golf ever, just in time for the LPGA's opening tournament this weekend.

Webb had a particularly easy time in her final round on Sunday. She had a four-stroke lead for much of the back nine and bogeys on the final two holes could not even add drama to the proceedings. She finished the four day tournament at 269, 19-under.

Shin Ji-yai of South Korea finished second at 271 and American Cristie Kerr ended up in third, three strokes behind Webb.

The key to Webb's easy win was her performance the day before. She shot a spectacular round of 62 to tie with Michelle Ellis after three rounds of play.

Ellis struggled all day on Sunday and her round of 75 opened things up for Webb's easy victory.

Webb, while happy with the win, sees her two wins in two weeks as just the start of something good.

"It's obviously been a great start to the year," she said. "I take a lot of positives, a lot of confidence into the next two weeks in Hawaii."

Hawaii is the setting for the first two tournaments on the LPGA tour. This week's opener is the SBS Open which will be played at Turtle Bay.

As for other ladies of note in the Australian Ladies Masters, Ahn Sun-ju who was leading the tournament the first two days of action finished in fourth place at 14-under and Taiwan's Tseng Ya-ni ended up alone in the fifth spot after shooting the lowest round on Sunday (66).
