Uncasville, CT (AHN) - Here come the Connecticut Sun.
The Sun rolled off their fourth consecutive win on Tuesday night, edging past the Minnesota Lynx 84-79.
Katie Douglas netted 15 of her 22 points after intermission and Lindsay Whalen chipped in with 20 points as the Sun (10-11) moved within a game of .500.
Minnesota (5-17), headed in the opposite direction with seven straight losses, was led by Seimone Augustus' 24 points and Svetlana Ambrosimova, who chipped in with 17.
Nykesha Sales settled the contest down the stretch for the Sun, hitting a key jump shot with 20.3 seconds remaining. Sales had six points, five rebounds and four assists on the night.
