Washington (AHN) -- The Washington Mystics scored the last nine points inFriday night's game against the Detroit Shock (11-3) and extended theirwinning streak to three games.Alana Beard's three-point play with 13 seconds left put the Mystics aheadfor their 65-64 win in Washington.The Mystics (5-10) managed to get their early fourth quarter deficit of 14down to two points with 48 seconds left.The Mystics took possession after two blocked shots on Swin Cash. Bearddrove the right side against Deanna Nolan and made a jumper and got thefoul. Her free throw gave the Mystics its first lead since 17-15 early inthe second quarter.
