Minneapolis, MN (AHN) - Seimone Augustus scored six of her 28 points in overtime and Nicole Ohlde contributed 18 points and eight rebounds to help the Minnesota Lynx beat the Connecticut Sun 77-73 Wednesday night.

Rookie guard Lindsey Harding had 11 points and five assists for the Lynx. The rookie's lay-up with just over two minutes left in overtime put Minnesota ahead to stay at 73-71. Harding made up for a missed jumper at the end of regulation that would have won the game sooner for the Lynx.

Asjha Jones had 22 points and 10 rebounds for the Sun, while teammate and Minnesota native Lindsay Whalen added 10 points, seven rebounds and five assists in a well-rounded effort.

It was just the third win in the last 21 games over the last two seasons for the victory-hungry Lynx. Connecticut is going the other way, falling to 4-4 this season for a Sun team that went 26-8 in the last two campaigns.
