WNBA: San Antonio Rallies From 13-Point Deficit To Beat Houston

Houston, Texas (AHN) - Becky Hammon had a big night for the San Antonio Silver Stars, scoring 26 points in an 82-71 triumph over the Houston Comets on Tuesday.

Hammon and the Silver Stars (3-1) rallied from a 13-point first-quarter deficit to pick up their third win of the season.

The Comets are 0-3 for the first time in franchise history.

Down by 13, the Silver Stars outscored the Comets 29-9 to close the first half. Hammon racked up 13 points in the first half, including eight during a 13-0 spurt in the second quarter.

Sophia Young drained a lay-up to put the Silver Stars ahead 58-44 with 1:42 left in the third quarter. Young finished with 16 points while Erin Buescher chipped in with 12.

The Silver Stars nailed a franchise-high 13 3-point buckets. Six of those treys came from Hammon.

Michelle Snow paced the Comets with 20 points and 12 rebounds.
